Node Types on Blocknode

Blocknode offers 4 distinct types of nodes, each tailored to different user needs and blockchain functionalities:

1/ Validator Node

Validator nodes participate in the consensus and governance of blockchain networks, validating transactions and blocks. They are crucial for maintaining the blockchain's integrity and security.

Users are looking to actively participate in the governance of the blockchain and could earn rewards for validating transactions.

2/ Operator Node

These nodes are operated by users who wish to support specific blockchain operations without engaging in transaction validation. They help in relaying transactions and maintaining the network.

Users who want to support blockchain networks technically without the responsibilities of a validator.

3/ Full Node

Full nodes maintain a complete history of blockchain transactions and states. They play a key role in decentralization by independently verifying transactions and blocks on the network.

Enthusiasts and businesses that require full transparency and access to the entire blockchain for enhanced security and auditability.

4/ Semi-Private Node

Designed for enhanced speed and reliability, Semi-Private Nodes support high-frequency trading by minimizing latency and maximizing transaction efficiency.

Supported Networks

BlockNode supports a diverse range of 12 blockchain networks, allowing users to choose nodes based on their specific blockchain preferences and requirements. Each network offers unique features and benefits, catering to various blockchain applications and use cases.

Status Indicators

It's easy to understand the status of your node thanks to our application's intuitive interface, which uses the following status indicators:

Online

Your node is actively running and fully operational.

Expired

Your node has expired due to non-payment. To reactivate your node, please ensure that your subscription is renewed no later than 5 days before the expiry date.

To Be Deployed

This status appears after you purchase a node. It indicates that we are configuring your node for deployment. If we do not have a pre-configured node in stock, deployment can take up to 48 hours.

Offline

This status is rare and indicates that your node is experiencing issues. Although our automated scripts typically restart nodes that encounter problems, please contact us immediately if this status persists.
