Understanding and managing your private keys securely is crucial, as they serve as your sole access to your nodes. Here’s how we handle your private keys:
Users can retrieve their private keys by navigating to the 'Overview' page on our application. From there:
-> Click on your node subscription.
-> 'Node Secrets'.
-> Copy your private key.
After you confirm the retrieval by selecting 'Confirm Once', your private keys are permanently deleted from our database. This measure is to ensure that your keys are not stored on our platform longer than necessary, enhancing your security. Once deleted, these keys will also disappear from your dashboard.
Importance of Protecting Your Private Keys
It is essential to protect and securely store your private keys:
Private keys are the only means through which you can access your nodes. If lost, access to the node and its associated data could be irretrievably lost.
We recommend storing your private keys in a secure, encrypted digital wallet or offline storage to protect against online threats.
